The Global Economic Crisis - Latin America.
Paulo Sotero discusses the state of the Brazilian economy following his visit in November 2008. Quarter three growth for 2008 was up at 6.4%, projections by the world bank for 2009 are for growth of only 2.9% - high enough to keep Brazil out of recession but clearly a step change from the recent past. Paulo is Director of the Brazil Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Centre For Scholars in the USA. The video was posted by NDN, a think tank and advocacy organization.
